Time to say farewell.

Its time for a fresh start- A new year & a new start I think!
I have loved blogging about my time at university but now my student life is over, I think it's only right that I start a new blog about the next chapter in my life.
So my brand new blog is called, drum roll please...

Look forward to seeing you there!
Love Kerry

Colston Hall Xmas Fair

On Sunday, I had my first ever market stall at Colston Hall, in Bristol. Its a beautiful venue and there were some gorgeous stands.
And it was lovely to catch up with some of the wonderful people I met during Paper. Scissors. Stone!
Have a peek at some of the other designers who were also there, here.

The tree is here!

I've been collecting (and making) decorations for months and now we've finally got our perfect Christmas tree!
We wanted our first tree to be special so we went to a tiny, local farm to pick the perfect one!

christmas is a comin'

I'm always like a kid at Christmas, but this year will be the first one in 3 years that I've been at home (not at uni) and the first year in my new home, with my hubby to be!

I should be making things to sell at the christmas market next weekend, but I keep making things for myself! Naughty!

a little update!

my little blog has been slightly neglected recently!
well lots of things came to an end last month (sob) but this weekend, i get to buy my christmas tree (yay!)

Paper. Scissors. Stone came down last Monday, to make way for the beautiful christmas shop!
I am taking part in the Made In Bristol Gift Fair on the 16th of Dec, which I am super excited about! Find more info here.

And I also travelled up to Harrogate for the final instalment of the Knitted Textile Awards. Its a lovely little town (with some gorgeous craft shops) and the show was a great success!
The well deserved winner was Deimante Meilune.
Read all about it here!

31 October 2012

i've finally been rewarded with some time in my studio to relax, drink as much tea as is humanely possible and, best of all, to draw!
the christmas cards are coming along nicely, i'm trying a new style of drawing and adding colour in photoshop, which i am really enjoying!
the cards will be available to buy soon!

DIY corkboard.

i was feeling a little creative this morning so i decided to make a corkboard for my new studio. after a little trip to the Scrapstore (which i'm a bit obsessed with at the moment!) and a few glue gun mishaps later... voila!
some of the corks i found are brilliant, have a good look at the bottom picture (my favourite is 'the little penguin')...
