Whilst committing some google stalking, i came across these amazing chairs, made by one of my course leaders.
They're knitted out of carrier bags from a well known supermarket chain (looks like tesco to me) and she created them, simply because she was bored of the old chairs.
Being a bit of a knit maniac myself, i thought these were pretty cool.

First of all..
I must sincerely apologise for my lack of posts recently.

Second, i found my camera lead!
And third, i have some photos to share.
Last Wednesday, i returned to college and watched the annual Fashion show. Being at college for 2 years, i myself was in the show twice and had so much fun!
The course itself is titled Textiles and Fashion, but it is mostly based around learning textile processes, so the show is extremely 'arty'. However, there was no doubt, it was still brilliant.

Missing...
One small black camera lead.
Well, im sorry to say i have misplaced my camera cable so i cannot share with the fantastic photos i took today.
But i shall be on the hunt for it so that i can share the fun with you. Because, trust me, these photos are fun!
I'll keep you updated!

Final Project- Exhibition
Well the busy spider has finally finished her web.

Well, thats it. First year over. Mixed emotions as i can no longer use the excuse of "im only a first year."
I was really pleased with how it all looked together, a little sparse compared to some others but that was the look i wanted & i was advised to keep it that way.
So, here it is... 5 (ish) weeks worth of work.

So here's a little sneaky peak at the main attraction, just to keep you waiting...

Degree Show
Last night i went to the private view of the Bath Spa Degree show. Over two campuses, there was Fine Art, Graphics, Textiles and Fashion (BA and MA) and Creative Arts. The talent was amazing and truly inspiring.

A few weeks ago, a friend introduced me to a beautiful website. The entire mood and feel of the site just completely encaptures me. Its a safe bet that you'll find some photography that you like.

GFW
Well, i can officially say my Graduate Fashion Week virginity has been firmly taken. Words cannot even describe how much fun i had. So im not going to waste them...

And just one last thing to finish, the gorgeous blonde fellow (second from the left) saved the show, seeing as one highly professional male model decided to back out.
Here are some of my favourite photos, from the Bath show (obviously), because they did amazingly well!
Overall, it was a day filled with v.i.p. seats accompanied by Paul Smith gift bags, seeing the lovely Erin O'connor, being complimented on my outfit and a photo of me being posted on another blog (of which i am yet to find!), watching tinie tempa (then being crushed by his large following), seeing Susie from the amazing 'Style Bubble' and of course looking at the most beautiful garments from the creme-de-la-creme of up-coming fashion talent.

Well done Nick on his GFW debut.
