Im saying it now because tomorrow im off to JAPAN so wont be blogging for a couple of weeks & then christmas is upon us.

Feeling Festive?

...Well i wasnt until i had a wander round the Bath christmas market (with a hot chocolate & a 'festive bake' from Greggs!).

The carols, the mulled wine, the fairy lights... I love it!

Its been a hectic few weeks... so unfortunately my project has probably suffered for this. But here are a few little photos of some work i did today...

Dutch Design Week- Eindhoven (Day 3)

The highlight of my trip has to be finding a gorgeous little vintage shop & adjoining gallery. In this gallery, there was the most beautiful exhibition i had ever seen...

The artist had simply collected unwanted items from the streets of Amsterdam and put them on a piece of paper on the floor. All you had to do was pick a little ticket from a jar and whatever number was on that paper, matched an item. You then took the item home with you and gave it a new life.

Guess what item i took home?

Going on a lion hunt..

Over the past few months, these lovely lions have been scattered around the city of Bath & this weekend they were collected together to be auctioned off.

There are over 100 different lions so it was very hard to pick my favourites to show you!

My chosen specialism is now knitwear & fashion. I cannot wait to get on that knitting machine!

Summer work...

After receiving some extremely positive comments about my summer work, i thought i would share a few bits and bobs with you.
I was informed my style is 'kitch', 'eclectic' and 'scrappy' (although scrappy was initially meant as a negative comment, it was later turned into a positive one)

Yesterday i went to a beautiful wedding, at a wonderful location, with lovely people.

With only 20 or so guests, it was personal and intimate. They made the day their way, for them and them only. They didn't listen to tradition, they did it how they wanted and it worked perfectly.

I hear bells...

Wedding bells to be precise...

Yep, thats right... I'm ENGAGED!

This ring belonged to my fiancee's grandmother and is over 56 years old. It so old that it has no hall-mark so we've sent it to be tested to see what carat it is.

But im completely and utterly in love with it... (oh and my GORGEOUS fiancee of course!)
