work review

so yesterday i had a review of all the work ive done in the third year (pretty scary!)
but it went really well and it turns out, rather than having one big collection... it looks like im going to have lots of little ones... so theres something for everyone!
after my review (which lasted over an hour), i went through every single sample and pinned up my favourites.

now all ive got to do... is make them into cushions!

new samples.

here are some of the new samples ive done this week...

ceramics.

so in preparation for my degree show, ive started experimenting with ceramics. i needed a way to creatively get my illustrations into the show space and i thought printing them onto ceramics might be a good way to go.
i dont think theyre too bad for first attempts?
p.s. sorry the pictures are a bit dark, my studio space is so gloomy sometimes :(

he is finally finished! he certainly took a while but he was worth it!

intarsia cushion

my first cushion is finally done! it's not going to appear in the final show (as the colours are pretty awful) so it was just a little tester. it is pretty snuggly though!

this is bertie. he is my new friend & he keeps me company at my desk :)
